The restoration begins

This picture is of, The Lady of Justice statue. The perspective is a little tricky because she is on her side for ease of workability. She is horizontal on a steel rod and able to be turned to work on different areas. This is so our restoration team can work on her more easily.

The Lady of Justice Statue is coming together, literally. This is a member of our restoration team, Brett Nye. He is in the process of bringing the right arm together with the bodice. This has been an ongoing process of cutting, patching and riveting zinc and steel patches to make her more rigid and sturdy. This right arm will hold her hand and her sword.
