Internal restoration of the gown

In this photo you can see the bottom of The Lady’s gown. Before we started the edges of her gown were all tattered and torn. New zinc patches have been formed to replace the old hemline. You may also notice many patches on the inside of her gown as well. We used hand-made washers to secure the rivets and keep them from pulling through the thin zinc. Stay tuned for more updates!
