Installing the Lightning Protection

As you can see, this picture is of the Lady with her back facing upwards. Our team has installed a special lighting protection system that will not only protect the statue but the entire courthouse as well. The system includes a one inch diameter steel pole that attaches at her base and goes all the way up her back to secure at her head. Steel cables will lead down from her base all the way to the ground level of the courthouse. The lightning rod will extend another nine feet above her head to deflect lightning.
